Privacy
How we look after your information.
What we collect when you sign up before launch, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Draft for review. This page needs checking by a solicitor before launch.
Who we are
SpeakFor is run by ProudPlanet Ltd, a company registered in Ireland. We are the data controller for the information you give us on this website. You can reach us at hello@speakfor.co.
What we collect
When you reserve a page or sign up, we collect your name, email, the @handle you choose and your answers on the form. Speakers can also share a topic and a headshot. Agencies can share a speaker's name and link.
We also collect basic, anonymous information about how the site is used, such as pages visited.
Why we use it
To hold your @handle, to contact you about SpeakFor before and at launch, to send what you asked for (such as the health check), and to improve the site.
Our legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in running a pre-launch list. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We use trusted service providers to store data and send emails, such as Google and Supabase. They only act on our instructions.
How long we keep it
We keep your details until launch and for up to 12 months after, unless you become a user. Then our full app privacy policy applies. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask to see, correct, delete or move your data, and object to how we use it. Email hello@speakfor.co. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland.
Changes
We will update this page if anything changes. Last updated: October 2026.
