SpeakFor shortlisted for the 2026 National Startup Awards
Monaghan, Ireland. SpeakFor, the talent booking engine for in-person events, has been shortlisted in the Female Founder Startup category (Connacht and Ulster) at the 2026 National Startup Awards.
SpeakFor helps organisers book the right thought leaders for in-person events, and helps people with expertise get booked and paid for it. Every speaker gets a booking page connected to their calendar and email, with dynamic pricing, deposits, automated agreements and invoicing. Organisers secure a date with a deposit, and the speaker is paid in full once the talk is delivered.
Unlike a speaker bureau, SpeakFor is a talent-agnostic technology company. Speakers keep 100% of their fee, and organisers pay a service fee. The platform is in beta with 20 speakers across politics, sustainability, procurement, AI, pharma, GAA, addiction, inclusion and entrepreneurship.
"Speakers are some of the most skilled people in any room, yet booking them still runs on emails, handshakes and hope. Being shortlisted tells us the problem is real, and that it can be fixed from Ireland."
