Questions
Here's what event teams ask us most.
Is it more expensive than booking direct?
The speaker's fee is the same. You pay a 10% service fee when you find them on SpeakFor, or 5% when you bring your own speaker.
What if the speaker cancels?
You're refunded in full, including our service fee.
Can we pay by invoice or bank transfer?
A card secures the date. The balance can go by bank transfer, and invoices carry your PO number.
Do speakers need to be on SpeakFor already?
No. Invite the speaker you want. They get a free page, and you pay 5%.
Is it only for big conferences?
No. Company offsites, workshops, school talks and community events book through SpeakFor too.
